Texas in-person early voting ends Friday, Oct. 30, and San Patricio County voters have different final-day hours depending on the location they choose. The county fairgrounds in Sinton stays open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., while several satellite sites use a shorter 10 a.m.-6 p.m. schedule.
The Texas Secretary of State calendar establishes Friday as the statewide final day. The City of Taft election page publishes the local location schedule for the Nov. 3 general and special municipal elections.
San Patricio County early voting hours for Friday

The fairgrounds offers the widest Friday window among the five locations listed on the city’s page. A voter using another site should not assume the 7 p.m. closing time applies there.
What changes on Election Day
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, when the local page lists all polling locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Election Day list includes additional sites in Gregory, Ingleside, Ingleside on the Bay, Edroy and Odem.
Early-voting flexibility does not automatically carry into Election Day procedures. Verify the assigned or permitted location, identification requirements and current status through the official county or state resources.
The Daily Quill’s Consumer Guides desk focuses on deadline and location comparisons. Its Community and Public Services coverage tracks other official access changes and public schedules.
The City of Taft page also describes Proposition A, a local sales-and-use tax measure, and municipal races for Ward 1 and Ward 2. This guide does not advocate a position on any candidate or proposition; it is limited to official voting logistics.
Voters who need accessibility assistance or are uncertain about an acceptable location should call the official county elections office before the final day. A social-media post or copied schedule may omit a relocation, temporary closure or procedural detail.
Before traveling, check the city election page for a late location change and allow time to arrive before the site’s listed closing hour. Friday, Oct. 30, is the last statewide day for in-person early voting.
